Job description

Position Title: Junior Project Engineer


Location: Conrwala Plant


Workplace type: On Site


As a Junior Project Engineer, you will be responsible for Preparation of P & IDs, piping plans, equipment layouts and BOQs etc. and execution. Cost estimation in co-ordination with other Engineers for any Project. Supervision/ billing of Contractor’s jobs.


This role report to Manager Projects.


What you will do:


  • Preparation of Drawings – To Prepare P&IDs, piping plans, equipment layouts and BOQs etc. for any proposed Project.
  • Cost Estimation – To prepare the list of equipment required for the new Project and then estimation of cost required for that Project.
  • Project Execution – To prepare the list of equipment required for the new Project and then estimation of cost required for that Project.
  • Materials Management – Supervising the execution of work at site, ensuring that all the work is being done according to our approved drawings and as per our company’s standards.
  • Resolving Issues – Analyzing and resolving day to day issues faced with other stake holders during execution of the Project.
  • Company Safety Policies – Strict compliance of company safety policies and procedures at site during execution work at site and keeping complete check on contractors to observe all the safety requirements as per company policy.
  • Documentation & Reporting – Preparation and reporting of documents regarding project progress such as procurement updates, equipment ordering and delivery dates, work progress at site etc.

What you will bring:


  • B.Sc Chemical Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience (preferably in preparation of P & IDs, piping plans, equipment layouts and BOQs etc. and execution).
  • Experience in RMP production department is a plus
  • Computer skills with proficiency level in operation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills essential
