Job summary

InfoTech Group in Karachi, Pakistan, is seeking a Power BI Developer to design and deliver interactive dashboards and reports. You will connect Power BI to SQL Server and other sources, perform data extraction, transformation, and modeling, and implement DAX measures to support business insights.

You will work with business users to gather requirements, validate data, and maintain existing reports, while ensuring security and efficient refreshes.

Qualifications

• Strong Power BI experience including dashboard/report development.
• Proficiency with SQL Server data sources and querying.
• Solid knowledge of DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Experience with Power Query data preparation and modeling.
• Ability to visualize data effectively to drive business insights.

Responsibilities

• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI.
• Connect Power BI to SQL Server and other data sources.
• Extract, transform, and prepare data using Power Query.
• Create data models and establish relationships between tables.
• Write and maintain DAX measures and calculated columns.
• Design visually effective dashboards according to business requirements.
• Analyze data to identify trends and insights for business users.
• Collaborate with business users to understand reporting needs.
• Maintain and enhance existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Perform data validation and ensure report accuracy.
• Troubleshoot data, refresh, and visualization issues.
• Publish reports to Power BI Service and manage workspaces as needed.
• Assist in scheduled data refreshes and basic report security.
