Job Title: Junior Business Analyst

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Junior Business Analyst to join our dynamic team. You will collaborate closely with the Solutions Lead to define clear project scopes, prepare comprehensive proposal documents, and ensure alignment between business requirements and technical implementation.

Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Solutions Lead to prepare detailed Scope of Work (SOW) and proposals, either independently or collaboratively.
• Actively participate in backlog grooming sessions, prioritising features and tasks based on project goals and client needs.
• Create and refine clear, actionable user stories along with detailed acceptance criteria to guide development teams.
• Collaborate directly with developers and designers to communicate business requirements clearly and accurately, addressing and resolving any discrepancies between desired outcomes and delivered solutions.
• Facilitate communication and coordination among stakeholders, ensuring timely and accurate updates.
• Document business processes, identify gaps, and propose solutions to enhance workflow efficiency.
• Support testing activities by validating developed solutions against established acceptance criteria and business requirements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Sciences, Business, Information Systems, or related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in business analysis or a related analytical role.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to articulate complex concepts clearly.
• Familiarity with creating detailed documentation such as user stories, acceptance criteria, and proposal documents.
• Basic understanding of Agile methodologies and experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders.
• Collaborative team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience working with software development teams.
• Familiarity with UX/UI design principles.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools.
