Job summary

Translation Empire PK, a UK’s leading translation and interpretation company, is seeking a Junior Android App Developer to design, build, test and maintain Android apps from our office in Rawalpindi. You will collaborate with the development team to implement features and resolve issues.

Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in CS/SE and 1–2 years of Android experience with Java or Kotlin, Android Studio, Gradle, Git, and REST APIs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 1–2 years of Android app development experience with Java or Kotlin
• Familiarity with Android development frameworks and tools (Android Studio, Gradle, Git)
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming and software design patterns
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs
• Strong debugging and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively
• Creative and strategic problem solving

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, development, testing, and deployment of Android applications
• Debug and resolve issues in the application code
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to new features
• Collaborate with the development team to meet requirements and quality standards
• Develop and maintain application documentation
