Job summary

Translation Empire PK is seeking a Junior Android App Developer to design, build, test, and maintain Android applications. You will debug issues, contribute to new features, and ensure quality across the app stack.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in CS/SE, 1–2 years of Android experience with Java or Kotlin, and familiarity with Android Studio, Gradle, and Git. Work from Office in Rawalpindi area, with a 10am–7pm shift.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• 1-2 years of Android application development, with experience in Java or Kotlin.
• Familiarity with Android development frameworks and tools, including Android Studio, Gradle, and Git.
• Strong understanding of object-oriented programming principles and software design patterns.
• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs.
• Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues in the application code.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with development team members and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the design, development, testing, and deployment of Android applications
• Debug and resolve issues in the application code, including performance and usability issues
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the development of new features and functionality
• Collaborate with the development team to ensure that applications meet the specified requirements and quality standards
• Participate in the development and maintenance of the application documentation
• Stay current with industry trends and developments in Android application development
