Job description

Overview

Location: Rawalpindi, Pakistan.

Journal Manager will have to work for at least three (03) years and will be partner of 40% of the total revenue for each issue. Online training will be provided to the selected candidates. The candidate must have strong research interest and grip on computer and internet browsing. Candidates who have national or international publications will be preferred.

Responsibilities

• Process administration and quality control; assess usability (for review purposes).
• Ensure completeness of metadata and e-files (including source files) of submitted and revised manuscripts and (as appropriate).
• Make manuscripts available to Editor(s) and/or Reviewers.
• Assess usability (for production purposes) and completeness of metadata and e-files of accepted manuscripts and make manuscripts available to authors.
• Prioritize handling of manuscripts according to the Service Level agreements set per journal.
• Maintenance of people records online.
• Keywords searching using search engines and maintaining the record of the keywords and the search results.
• Communicate and forward queries from Authors and Editors to appropriate parties.
• Provide feedback on input quality of content and metadata and supplier performance to relevant parties.
