Job summary

Global Rescue is seeking a mid-level Software Engineer - Java Full Stack to build and scale enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Angular, and microservices. You will work on JPA/Hibernate, RESTful APIs, and database platforms to deliver high-quality software for crisis response services.

The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers and architects, with modern DX practices, CI/CD, and AI-assisted development tools in a fast-paced Agile environment.

Qualifications

• Requires 3+ years of hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, SQL, and Angular.
• Experience with relational databases and SQL query optimization.
• Experience designing and integrating RESTful APIs, API Gateway, Web Sockets, and various messaging systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain enterprise applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, JPA, Hibernate, MySQL and Angular, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and business analysts to deliver scalable, high-performance, and maintainable solutions.
• Participate in application architecture, design reviews, and technical discussions to improve system quality and performance.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including diagrams and design specifications.
• Develop unit and integration tests to ensure quality and reliability.
• Provide Level III production support by troubleshooting complex issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Perform data analysis and ensure data integrity.
• Utilize Git/GitLab, Maven, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated testing.
