Job summary

NIQ is seeking a highly detail-oriented Item Setup Specialist to join our Product Content Operations team. You will create, enrich, manage, and maintain high-quality product content across leading retail, distribution, and eCommerce platforms, including Amazon, Walmart, Staples, Wayfair, D&H, and more.

You will work with internal and external stakeholders to ensure content quality, compliance, and timely issue resolution.

Qualifications

• University degree or equivalent.
• Up to 1 years of experience in Product Content Management, Item Setup, eCommerce Operations, Catalog Management, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of retailer and marketplace content requirements.
• Excellent internet research and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• High attention to detail and commitment to data quality.

Responsibilities

• Acquire, extract, validate, and manage product content per SOPs and customer requirements.
• Research and enrich product information from manufacturer sources and catalogs.
• Source, validate, and upload high-resolution images and digital assets.
• Create and maintain accurate product descriptions, specifications, attributes, and marketing content across platforms.
• Ensure content meets quality, compliance, and formatting requirements of major retailers and marketplaces.
• Perform advanced internet research to fill missing product information.
• Communicate with customers, manufacturers, vendors, and partners to obtain information.
• Respond to inquiries and resolve content-related issues with stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Content, Quality, Operations, and Translation teams to meet deadlines.
• Manage medium to high-complexity item setup with minimal supervision.
• Monitor workloads to ensure productivity and turnaround-time targets.
• Identify process improvements and contribute to operational excellence.
• Serve as SME and guide junior colleagues on complex issues.
