Job summary

HR Ways is assisting a credit bureau licensed by the State Bank of Pakistan in recruiting a Head of IT for their Karachi operations. The role oversees IT strategy, infrastructure, databases, software development and SQA, ensuring secure, scalable and compliant technology services.

You will drive digital transformation, set governance standards and manage budgets while coordinating with cybersecurity and business continuity teams to protect data and ensure regulatory alignment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles within financial services or regulated industries.

Responsibilities

• Oversee IT infrastructure, IT operations, database, software development and SQA functions.
• Lead IT governance, cybersecurity, risk management, business continuity and regulatory compliance.
• Manage IT budget, vendor relationships and strategic technology investments.
• Ensure high availability, security and scalability of critical systems.
