Job description

BE Computers / Electronics (4 year HEC recognized degree) with minimum 5 years of IT & Information Security experience.

Candidates with Certification in IT security will be preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Support network segments, Internet, and intranet systems.
• Implement best practices for new and existing IT security solutions.
• Conduct training sessions to educate employees about security best practices.
• Develop and implement incident response plans to address security breaches.
• Ensure that security policies are up-to-date and in compliance with industry regulations.
• Evaluate the effectiveness of existing security controls and recommend improvements.
• Writing and maintaining Technical Documentation and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Implement and manage firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, internet gateways and other security infrastructure.
• Monitor network traffic for unusual activity and respond to security incidents.
• Evaluate and recommend new security solutions to enhance the organization's security posture.
• Work closely with IT teams, management, and other stakeholders to integrate security measures into the organization's infrastructure and projects.
• Prepare reports for management on the status of the organization's security posture.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors to address security findings.
