DETAIL OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Networking
- Responsible for smooth operations of all IT related fields.
- Assists in the planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting infrastructure.
- Implements network security at the HIGHEST level as recommended by the company.
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of Network system, and directs more changes when necessary.
- Oversees the administration of LAN/WAN.
Training & Lab Maintenance
- Oversees the administration and maintenance of computer stations and software and provides additional support if necessary.
Internal Systems
- Oversees troubleshooting, systems backups, archiving, and disaster recovery and provides expert support when necessary.
- Works with team members to help in implementing strong Internal Systems.
Help Desk Administration
- Oversees all help desk activities and responds to issues.
- Interacts with staff members on all levels to help resolve IT-related issues and provides answers in a timely manner.
Asset Management
- Builds and maintains vendor relationships and manages the purchase of hardware and software products.
- Ensures that company assets are maintained properly.
- Ensure that the networking cable is installed properly in duct with systematic routing/mapping.
- Ensure that all electric shoes are in perfect order to avoid any electric disaster.
Communication
- Facilitates team meetings effectively.
- Holds regular status meetings with all members on a weekly basis.
- Keeps staff members well informed of changes within the organization.
- Effectively communicates relevant IT-related information to superiors.
- Delivers engaging, informative, well-organized presentations.
- Resolves and/or escalates issues in a timely fashion.
- Understands how to communicate difficult/sensitive information tactfully.
- Relays relevant IT-related information to the company in a timely manner.
Management
- Initiates and implements improvements in all areas of IT responsibility.
- Serves as main point of contact on all IT-related matters for the office assigned.
- Responds/acts on upper-management direction.
- Identifies problems related to staff members and discusses with Management for their approval or rejection.
- Suggests areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions.
- Assists in developing and maintaining the company's website and takes appropriate steps when required.
- Liaises with vendors providing services relating to web hosting and domain name to ensure smooth operations.
WEB DEV
Capable of designing, making and uploading of company website.
Audit
- Ensures that enough space is always provided to the main server.
- Ability to conduct audits on a monthly basis and delete unnecessary items/files from the computer.
PROGRAMMER
Ability to develop programs in Access and other tools like VB, SQL, etc.
Job Specification
- Capable of handling inter-department complaints along with IT administrative issues.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to meet deadlines.
- Can work late hours.
- Managing Remote Network Connections.
- Installation and configuration of Windows software and hardware.
- Creating Domain Base Environment.
- Knowledge about Reuters, Servers, and other related instruments.
