Job Description
The Pakistan-U.S. Alumni Network (PUAN) is a community of alumni from U.S. exchange programs dedicated to making a positive impact in Pakistan and around the world. Members of the network engage in community service, provide mentorship, and inspire future exchange participants. This network is jointly administered by the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad and the United States Educational Foundation in Pakistan (USEFP).
The incumbent will be responsible for the development and modification of PUAN Alumni Database and Web Applications.
The position reports to the Director Alumni Affairs.
IT Developer is required to work with CFML/ColdFusion development platform and MS SQL Databases, as well as development involving compatibility and integration with various web technologies. Responsible for the development of web applications. The developer should have the ability to create web applications working through the software development lifecycle. Best practices and frameworks should be used to ensure success of the projects.
Flexibility, adaptability, and the ability to learn quickly in various technical and creative environments, while delivering quality work by tight deadlines, are key attributes of this individual.
Bachelor’s in computer science, software engineering or related field. Master degree in relevant field is preferred.
