Job summary

Mechabits is seeking a device connectivity engineer to design and ship telemetry pipelines for BLE, MQTT, and cloud integration. You will ensure reliable pairing, sync, and field visibility across hardware, mobile, and cloud components.

You will work across firmware, hardware, and software to keep performance under weak networks and in offline scenarios, and you will leave runbooks for clients after handover.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with connected devices, BLE, MQTT, or similar.
• Comfort bridging firmware/hardware constraints with app or cloud services.
• Strong debugging instincts across device and network layers.
• Clear written English for async collaboration.

You will help ship connected products where hardware, mobile, and cloud must agree — pairing, sync, telemetry quality, and ops visibility included. Ideal if you have shipped device-backed products and care about what happens when the network drops.
