About the Role
You'll be joining the iOS team onan AI-driven management platform. The product combines an event-drivenmicroservices with mobile apps used directly on construction sites � whereconnectivity is unreliable, media capture is constant, and workflows ofteninvolve voice and real-time updates. This isn't a typical CRUD app; you'll bebuilding for field conditions as much as for polish.
What You'll Do
- -Build,test, and maintain production iOS applications using Swift, UIKit, andSwiftUI
- -Designapp architecture that stays maintainable as the product grows (MVVM, CleanArchitecture, or similar)
- -IntegrateREST and real-time (WebSocket) APIs, third-party SDKs, and localpersistence layers
- -Implementoffline-first data flows: local caching, queued writes, and sync/conflictresolution for intermittent connectivity
- -Buildmedia-heavy features: camera capture, large/resumable media uploads, documentand drawing viewing (PDF/image annotation), and efficient image loadingfor large galleries
- -Integratevoice capture/streaming features.
- -Profileand optimize performance, memory, responsiveness, and battery usage
- -Writeunit and UI tests, and participate in code reviews
- -Managereleases through TestFlight and App Store Connect
- -Partnerwith backend, design, QA, and product to turn requirements into shippedfeatures, and work closely with the backend team to align on an evolvingAPI Gateway contract
- -Mentorjunior developers and share knowledge across the team
What You'll Need
Experience
- -Bachelor'sdegree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- - 4�5years of professional native iOS development, with production apps shippedto the App Store
Technical
- -Swift,UIKit, SwiftUI, and the native iOS SDK
- -iOSapp lifecycle, Auto Layout, Storyboards/XIBs, and reusable UI components
- -Architecturalpatterns: MVVM, MVC, or Clean Architecture
- -Concurrency:Swift Concurrency, async/await, and GCD
- -Memorymanagement: ARC, retain cycles, and performance tuning
- -Networkingand data: URLSession, WebSockets, --JSON, Codable, Core Data, UserDefaults,Keychain
- -Offline-firstdesign: local caching, background sync, retry/reconciliation strategies
- -Mediahandling: camera capture, image/video compression, chunked or resumableuploads, PDF/document rendering
- -Testingand debugging: XCTest, Xcode, Instruments
- -Releaseengineering: App Store Connect, TestFlight, provisioning profiles,certificates
- -Platformfundamentals: push notifications, deep linking, background tasks, locationservices, permissions, biometric auth (Face ID/Touch ID), and iOS securitybasics
- -Gitand collaborative development workflows
- -Explainstechnical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technicalstakeholders
- -Takesownership of features and delivers them on time
