Job summary

Consort Group is expanding its Logistics and Freight Forwarding Sales team and seeking a motivated Business Development Officer to join our organization.

The role focuses on US and Canadian trucking, logistics, dispatch, and freight brokerage markets. Fresh graduates are welcome, with comprehensive training and an evening shift aligned with US/Canada hours. On-site position in Lahore, Pakistan.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant sales-related experience; fresh graduates encouraged.
• Excellent spoken and written English is mandatory.
• Strong communication, negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to work evening hours aligned with US/Canada operations.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound prospecting and cold calling to identify potential clients in the US/Canada trucking market.
• Research prospects and identify business opportunities within the target market.
• Present and promote dispatching and freight brokerage services to prospects.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with prospects through regular communication.
• Manage leads through the sales cycle and aim to convert to long-term clients.
• Meet or exceed monthly sales and business development targets.
• Maintain CRM with leads, communications, and sales activities.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams for smooth onboarding.
