Job summary

GulfStream Media UAE is seeking an Information Security Analyst to safeguard company systems and data from security breaches in Faisalabad, Pakistan. You will assess risks, implement controls, monitor activity, and educate staff on security best practices.

Travel to other locations within Pakistan may be required. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 2+ years of security experience, with knowledge of Nessus/QualysGuard and standards like ISO 27001/27002 or NIST CSF.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of information security analysis experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of network security, encryption, and firewalls.
• Experience with vulnerability assessment tools such as Nessus or QualysGuard.
• Knowledge of ISO 27001/27002 or NIST Cybersecurity Framework.
• Excellent communication to convey technical info to non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and in a team, detail-oriented and analytical.
• Knowledge of Pakistani data privacy laws is a plus.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM or CEH are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify risks and mitigation plans.
• Monitor network traffic for suspicious activity and investigate breaches.
• Implement and maintain security protocols across all systems and networks.
• Stay updated on threats and vulnerabilities in information security.
• Collaborate with teams to ensure proper security across systems.
• Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans for breaches or disasters.
• Educate employees on information security best practices.
• Conduct audits to ensure policy and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare status reports for management review.
