Job summary

Accelerec Ltd. in Karachi, Pakistan is seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize production processes, drive efficiency, and apply data‑driven methods to improve performance.

You will conduct time and motion studies, balance lines, plan capacity, and develop SOPs while collaborating with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams to reduce waste and boost productivity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in manufacturing/production.
• Experience in automobile parts, textile, wood, furniture, or similar industries preferred.
• Strong knowledge of time study, line balancing, capacity planning, and process improvement.
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen.
• Proficient in MS Excel; ERP/MRP experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve production processes, workflows, and productivity.
• Conduct time & motion studies, establish standard times, and improve work methods.
• Identify bottlenecks and optimize manpower, machine utilization, and production capacity.
• Support production planning, line balancing, and factory layout improvements.
• Monitor production KPIs, efficiency, cycle times, downtime, waste, and capacity utilization.
• Develop and improve SOPs, work instructions, and process standards.
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction, waste reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Implement Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Work closely with Production, Quality, Maintenance, and Planning teams.
• Analyze production data and recommend practical process improvements.
