Qualifications

UHA Legal, a Lahore-based law firm specializing in immigration and travel consultancy, is seeking a full‑time, on‑site Immigration Lawyer (Travel Consultant) to manage a portfolio of individual and corporate immigration matters.

Responsibilities

• Assess client eligibility and advise on visa categories, pathways, documentation and timelines.
• Prepare, review and finalize visa applications, supporting documents, cover letters and legal submissions.
• Draft and send formal correspondence to clients, foreign consulates and other stakeholders; follow up on case status.
• Conduct legal research on immigration regulations, bilateral agreements and country‑specific requirements.
• Maintain and organize accurate case files, track deadlines and ensure timely renewals and appeals when required.
• Collect evidence from clients, provide updates and manage client expectations throughout the process.
• Support preparation for interviews and submissions where required.

Job Specification

• Must-have: LLB or relevant law degree and enrollment with the Pakistan Bar Council (or equivalent legal accreditation).
• 2+ years' experience in immigration law or related legal practice.
• Professional knowledge of Pakistani immigration law and common foreign visa regimes (study, work, family, visitor, skilled migration).
• Experience preparing visa applications, evidence bundles, affidavits and legal submissions.
• Legal research skills and familiarity with interpreting immigration statutes, policies and consular guidance.
• Client management skills: intake interviews, expectation setting, documentation checklists and case updates.
• Proficiency with case management software and MS Office (Word, Excel).
• High ethical standards, confidentiality and professional conduct.
