Job summary

Farbstoffe Intl is hiring an AC Technician to install and maintain cooling systems across our offices, control room, lab and stores, including split, cassette, ducted and package units, plus AHU and ventilation systems. Work is performed under a permit system with strict safety protocols.

Responsibilities include installation, preventive maintenance, gas charging, filter cleaning, coil washing and refrigerant checks; diagnosing faults in compressors, PCB, fans and sensors; maintaining AHU and

Qualifications

Matric with DAE qualification required.
2–3 years of HVAC experience.
Experience with gas charging and R22/R410A, brazing, vacuum and pressure testing, and multimeter use.
Basic electrical knowledge and HVAC controls.
Physically fit for roof work, night shifts and emergency breakdowns.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain AC units across offices, control room, lab and store.
Perform preventive maintenance, gas charging, filter cleaning, coil washing and refrigerant checks.
Diagnose faults in compressors, PCB, fans and sensors.
Maintain AHU, ducting, exhaust and fresh air systems.
Adhere to PPE and permit system requirements; practice Lockout-Tagout and report leaks.
Ensure safety protocols and plant safety procedures are followed.
