Islamabad, Pakistan | Permanent | PKR 160,000 – 400,000 gross per month
BoS is the Islamabad-based operation that provides technology, operational and business support services alongside Aetheria Group — a UK-headquartered group of regulated services businesses working across children's social care and healthcare, with its head office in Hertfordshire, England. You would be employed by BoS and would work closely with colleagues across the Group.
Group colleagues in the United Kingdom run Ofsted-registered children's residential homes for children and young people with complex needs, and deliver consultant-led clinical services inside NHS hospitals. So the work reaches two groups of people who cannot afford for us to be sloppy: children living in residential care, and NHS patients waiting for diagnosis and treatment. That is why we take governance, safeguarding and record-keeping as seriously as we do, and why we expect the same of everyone who joins us.
Supporting a group like this means supporting colleagues in very different settings — a residential home managing an incident at two in the morning, a Saturday theatre list, a busy outpatient clinic, and a recruitment team placing clinical staff at short notice. No two weeks look the same.
This is a broad, hands-on generalist HR role with team leadership attached. You will be the senior HR presence in Islamabad, and you will lead the HR officers and associates based here.
You will be the first point of contact for managers and colleagues in Islamabad, and you will support HR activity across our UK offices in Hertfordshire and Devon. You will work closely with the Senior HR, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager in the United Kingdom, and alongside HR colleagues in England.
Your work will include:
Matters of English employment law are determined in the United Kingdom, by the Senior HR, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager and the Group's UK advisers. Your job is to apply Group policy consistently, to spot the issue early, and to escape it — not to make determinations under a legal system in which you are not qualified. Your own appointment is governed by the law of Pakistan as applicable in the Islamabad Capital Territory.
Occasional international travel to other Group offices may be required. We support visa applications where travel is needed, but no employer can guarantee the outcome of a visa application and we will not pretend otherwise.
