Job summary

Raqami Islamic Digital Bank Ltd. is seeking an experienced Unit Head to lead the Business Governance & Controls function within Retail Banking. You will establish governance frameworks, oversee product governance, and ensure regulatory compliance across Retail Banking lines.

The role requires strong leadership, cross-functional collaboration with Compliance, Internal Audit, Legal, and Shariah teams, and the ability to drive automation and performance reporting.

Qualifications

• 10-12 years in banking with governance, risk, compliance, audit, and analytics.
• 4-5 years in a leadership role within Governance, Controls, Risk, Audit, Compliance, or Business Management.
• Experience in Digital Banking and Islamic Banking environments would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Retail Banking governance and control frameworks.
• Lead product governance processes across Retail Banking business lines.
• Monitor governance decisions, audit observations, and management directives.
• Coordinate with Compliance, Operational Risk, Internal Audit, Legal, and Shariah teams on governance matters.
• Drive governance automation, reporting enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with SBP regulations and Consumer Protection Framework requirements.
