Graphic Designer - Signage & Vehicle Wrap Specialist (ZR-467)

Overview

Horizon Tech is seeking a talented and experienced Graphic Designer with a proven background in signage design and vehicle wraps. The ideal candidate will be proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (all modules), with exceptional skills in Adobe Photoshop. You will work closely with our production team to create high-quality, production-ready designs that meet client expectations and align with brand guidelines.

Our Client is a full-service signage company specializing in creative, eye-catching designs for businesses, vehicles, and events. From custom storefront signs to high-impact vehicle wraps, we bring brands to life with precision and style.

Key Responsibilities

• Design custom graphics for signage, vehicle wraps, banners, window displays, and other print/large-format projects.
• Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and translate concepts into effective visual designs.
• Prepare production-ready files for printing and installation, ensuring accuracy in scaling, layout, and colour.
• Adapt designs for various materials, surfaces, and printing methods.
• Maintain organized file structures and follow proper naming conventions for easy access and production flow.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends, techniques, and software updates to enhance design quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in graphic design, with a focus on signage and vehicle graphics.
• Expert-level proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and other modules).
• Strong knowledge of Adobe Photoshop for high-quality image editing, compositing, and colour correction.
• Understanding of large-format printing processes, colour management, and file preparation.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent layout, typography, and composition skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Experience with vinyl cutting, plotting, and application processes is a plus.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with RIP software and print production workflows.
• Knowledge of material specifications for signage and vehicle graphics.
• Creative problem-solving skills to adapt designs for complex surfaces or challenging installation requirements.
