Job summary

NTU International A/S seeks experienced professionals for the Urban Development Experts Talent Pool to support sustainable urban development, planning and infrastructure initiatives across regions. You will engage in diagnostics, master planning and policy advisory to drive climate-resilient and inclusive city outcomes.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in urban development, strong coordination and stakeholder engagement, and experience with donor-funded or IFI projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in urban development, urban planning, municipal infrastructure or related sectors.
• Experience in integrated urban planning, urban regeneration, sustainable urban mobility or climate-resilient urban development.
• Familiarity with Global Gateway, European Green Deal, and international good practices is advantageous.
• Experience with international technical assistance, donor-funded and/or IFI-financed projects is highly desirable.
• Experience working with municipalities, national authorities, urban agencies, IFIs, development partners or private sector stakeholders is desirable.
• Strong analytical, coordination, stakeholder engagement and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the identification, preparation, appraisal and implementation of sustainable urban development projects and programmes.
• Conducting urban diagnostics, prefeasibility and feasibility studies, technical assessments, economic and financial analyses.
• Supporting integrated urban planning and the development of master plans.
• Advising on urban policies, regulatory frameworks and urban governance reforms.
• Assisting in preparation of urban investment pipelines aligned with Global Gateway and European Green Deal priorities.
• Integrating climate resilience, green infrastructure and inclusive urban development considerations into planning.
• Coordinating with municipal and national authorities, EU Delegations, IFIs and development partners.
