Job summary

HBL People seeks a Head of International IS Privacy Research and Innovation to lead privacy governance and security risk programs across its international locations, reporting directly to the CISO. The role drives policy development, regulatory alignment, and cross-region collaboration.

The candidate will oversee DPIAs, data classification, third-party risk, and global privacy initiatives, advancing state-of-the-art cybersecurity practices and building a global center of excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/InfoSec/Legal or related field.
• Master's in Cybersecurity, Information Assurance or Privacy/Law preferred.
• CISSP or CISM certifications preferred; 15 years of experience with 8–10 years international information security and privacy; banking/regulatory exposure.

Responsibilities

• Oversee information security risk assessments for international locations.
• Lead development and governance of privacy policies, standards, and data protection practices across regions.
• Coordinate with auditors and regulators; manage audits and remediation activities.
