Job summary

ACE Money Transfer is seeking a Data Privacy Expert to strengthen its privacy governance across ACE Group. You will ensure GDPR/UK DPA compliance, lead DPIAs, and maintain RoPAs while coordinating with regulators and internal teams.

You will drive privacy by design in product development, oversee DPAs and NDAs, and deliver targeted training to multiple departments to protect personal data globally.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Law, IT, Compliance, or Data Governance.
• Experience in data protection, legal compliance, or information governance.
• Strong knowledge of GDPR, UK DPA 2018, and related EU regulations.
• Proven ability to interpret regulatory requirements in business contexts.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Leadership and project planning abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with GDPR, UK DPA 2018, and similar frameworks.
• Advise stakeholders on privacy-by-design and by-default implementation.
• Perform and document DPIAs for high-risk processing activities.
• Maintain RoPAs and implement technical/organizational safeguards.
• Act as a point of contact for supervisory authorities.
• Coordinate DSAR responses within statutory timelines.
• Support data breach management and post-incident reviews.
• Champion privacy by design across product lifecycle and onboarding.
• Draft/ review DPAs, NDAs, and standard contractual clauses.
• Create and maintain data protection contract templates.
• Review contracts for data protection compliance and remediation.
• Keep up-to-date with evolving data protection laws.
• Deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
• Support privacy maturity assessments and roadmap planning.
• Advise on privacy aspects of analytics, automation, and AI.
• Document internal policies and incident response playbooks.
