Job summary

LW Group in Karachi, with over 20 years of experience in raw material trading and supply chain management, invites a detail-oriented Accountant to join our finance team and support daily accounting operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting or Finance, up to 1 year of experience, strong Excel skills, and familiarity with accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and compliance. This role offers growth and exposure to our European headquarters.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Commerce, or a related field (B.Com, M.Com, BBA, MBA Finance, or equivalent)
Up to 1 year of relevant experience in accounting or finance
Hands-on experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable, and account reconciliation
Knowledge of payroll, taxation, and compliance procedures

Responsibilities

Manage daily accounting operations, including bookkeeping and financial record maintenance
Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities
Perform account reconciliations and ensure accuracy of financial data
Assist in preparing financial reports, budgets, and financial analysis
Manage payroll-related accounting activities and support tax and compliance requirements
Monitor cash flow activities and coordinate with banks for financial transactions
Maintain accurate records of invoices, payments, expenses, and financial documents
Coordinate with internal departments and European headquarters for finance-related matters
Support month-end and year-end closing activities
Ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures
