Job summary

GSK in Pakistan is seeking a Packaging Operator to support day-to-day packing operations. You will work with operators, engineers and quality colleagues to keep production safe, reliable and efficient.

Qualifications

• Reading and following written procedures and basic technical instructions.
• Experience in manufacturing, packaging or industrial environments.
• Ability to operate basic production equipment and hand tools.

Responsibilities

• Execute tasks as per plan provided by Supervisor/Area FLL/Management.
• Carry out operations in Blistering, Blowing, Filling, Packing & Packing Stores/Quarantine Area.
• Ensure quality and EHS compliance by following QMS and EHS standards.
• Perform packaging activities within the production department and ensure area readiness.
• Conduct area/line clearance, changeovers and in-process checks as required.
• Complete and maintain all relevant production/packaging records and documents.
• Operate machines, support production and ensure timely completion of tasks.
• Follow SOPs on a daily basis.

Key Responsibilties

• Execute the task as per plan provided by Supervisor/Area FLL/ Management
• Carry out operations in the following areas: Blistering , Blowing, Filling, Packing & Packing Stores/ Quarantine Area
• To ensure quality and EHS compliance by following QMS and EHS standards in Day to Day Job.
• Perform all packaging activities within the production department & ensure area readiness as per standard compliance requirement.
• Conduct Area/line clearance, changeovers and perform in-process checks as required.
• Complete and maintain all relevant records/documents pertaining to the production/ packaging area.
• Operate machines, support production and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks & area documents as per requirement.
• Complete task assigned as per SOPs on daily basis

Qualification

• Minimum DAE or Graduate with relevant experience
• 2 years of experience in manufacturing , packaging, or an industrial environment.
• Ability to read and follow written procedures and basic technical instructions.
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic production equipment.
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work on-site shifts
• Basic spoken and written Urdu or English to follow procedures and report issues.
