Job summary

Provox Global is seeking a pragmatic GCP DevOps & Production Support Engineer in Islamabad to own health, reliability, and performance of production systems, including cloud infra, databases, APIs, webhooks, and telephony workflows.

You will work across the stack, implementing monitoring, alerting, and robust CI/CD practices while collaborating with stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable production operations.

Qualifications

• Professional English communication with US-based clients.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
• Hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience in a DevOps, cloud engineering, or production support role.

Responsibilities

• Own day-to-day GCP operations including database administration, performance review, backups, and reliability.
• Monitor production health across webhooks, APIs, scheduled jobs, telephony flows, and database activity.
• Build and maintain alerting for failures, latency, and abnormal transactions.
• Manage GCP IAM permissions and environment-level security.
• Provide Node.js development support for webhook services, logging, and operational tooling.
• Assist with Dialogflow CX to webhook integrations and environment deployment issues.
• Diagnose production incidents across Dialogflow CX, Google Phone Gateway, SIP, REST APIs, and Cloud SQL.
• Advise on clean implementation patterns, observability, and production-safe deployment practices.
• Create ad hoc operational reports from Cloud SQL and logs.
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployments across Cloud Run, Cloud Functions, and App Engine.
