Job summary

Inspire Pakistan in Islamabad seeks a GBV Community Mobiliser to support community-based GBV prevention and awareness activities. You will engage women, men, youth, and leaders to promote safe norms and provide information on services and referrals.

The role emphasizes ethical communication, survivor safety, and non-disclosure of sensitive details, with duties including outreach, reporting, and coordination with the GBV Field Supervisor. Experience in related work is preferred.

Qualifications

Preferably Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences or a related field.
Preferably 1–2 years of experience in community mobilisation, outreach, or protection-related work.
Strong community engagement and facilitation skills.

Responsibilities

Conduct GBV awareness and prevention sessions using approved materials.
Engage community members to promote positive norms and prevention.
Support formation and facilitation of women and adolescent groups where appropriate.
Ensure all engagement is culturally appropriate, gender-sensitive, and respectful.
Provide clear information on services and referral pathways.
Facilitate safe referrals to GBV Case Workers through established procedures.
Maintain confidentiality and survivor safety during interactions.
