Functional Solution Architect - Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O

Job Overview:

Devsinc is seeking an experienced Functional Solution Architect - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O) to lead ERP implementations, define solution architecture, and drive successful digital transformation for enterprise clients. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, leadership, and customer engagement to ensure seamless ERP deployments.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of business processes, experience in enterprise-scale implementations, and the ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Solution Architecture & Design

  • Architect and design scalable, high-performing D365 F&O solutions that align with client business needs.
  • Ensure seamless integration with third-party applications, legacy systems, and Microsoft Power Platform.
  • Conduct fit-gap analysis and design functional solutions based on best practices.
  • Drive the adoption of Success by Design, Microsoft Sure Step methodology, and Life Cycle Services (LCS).
ERP Implementation & Functional Leadership
  • Lead end-to-end implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O, from pre-sales to post-go-live support.
  • Oversee functional configurations, business process modeling, and solution validation.
  • Provide guidance on finance, supply chain, procurement, and manufacturing modules.
  • Ensure high-quality solution delivery and adherence to compliance and industry standards.
Client Engagement & Pre-Sales Support
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to clients, ensuring strong relationships and positive stakeholder feedback.
  • Conduct discovery workshops, solution demonstrations, and executive presentations.
  • Collaborate with sales and pre-sales teams to respond to RFPs and develop proposals.
  • Assist in defining ERP roadmaps and digital transformation strategies.
Team Mentorship & Collaboration
  • Mentor and guide functional consultants, ensuring best practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with technical architects, developers, and project managers to ensure successful delivery.
  • Advocate for standards, best practices, and continuous process improvements.
Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • Education:
    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or IT.
    • Professional Qualification: ACCA preferred.
  • Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations Apps Solution Architect Expert (preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Minimum 10 years in ERP consulting, with at least 7+ years in Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O.
    • Successfully led at least 5 full-cycle ERP implementations.
    • Strong expertise in Finance, Supply Chain, Retail, or Manufacturing modules.
Key Skills & Competencies:

Functional & ERP Expertise
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&O (Finance, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Retail).
  • Hands-on experience in GL, AR, AP, Fixed Assets, Budgeting, Cost Accounting, and Warehouse Management.
  • Familiarity with HR, Payroll, Landed Cost Management, and Power Platform modules is a plus.
Pre-Sales & Consulting Skills
  • Ability to prepare proposals, respond to RFPs, and conduct product demonstrations.
  • Strong experience in business process reengineering and solution design.
  • Knowledge of Power Platform, Power BI, and integrations with D365 F&O.

  • Excellent communication & presentation skills to engage with stakeholders.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making abilities.
