Job Description

• Develop and maintain full stack web applications using React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.
• Build secure, scalable, and maintainable backend APIs for EMR/EHR platforms.
• Create responsive, user-friendly frontend interfaces for healthcare professionals, administrative staff, and internal users.
• Design, manage, and optimize relational database schemas in PostgreSQL.
• Write efficient SQL queries using joins, indexes, transactions, stored procedures, and query optimization techniques.
• Develop features related to patient records, appointment scheduling, clinical documentation, billing, reporting, dashboards, and user management.
• Support the development and integration of AI-powered healthcare features, such as automated reporting, clinical workflow assistance, intelligent search, data summarization, predictive insights, and operational automation.
• Integrate AI/ML APIs, large language model tools, or third-party AI services where required.
• Work with structured and unstructured healthcare data to support analytics, automation, and AI-assisted modules.
• Implement authentication, authorization, audit trails, and role-based access control.
• Follow secure coding practices when working with sensitive healthcare data and PHI.
• Integrate third-party APIs and healthcare-related services when required.
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve frontend, backend, AI integration, and database-related issues.
• Write clean, reusable, maintainable, and well-documented code.
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and sprint planning.
• Support deployment, bug fixing, performance optimization, and application maintenance activities.

Requirements

Work Experience:

• 4 years of hands-on experience in full stack software development.
• Strong experience with React.js, Next.js, Node.js, Express.js, and PostgreSQL.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.

Skills:

• Experience working on healthcare software, EMR/EHR systems, patient management systems, medical billing systems, or clinical workflow applications.
• Understanding of PHI, HIPAA concepts, healthcare data privacy, or compliance-related software practices.
• Experience integrating AI/ML APIs, large language models, chatbots, intelligent automation tools, or healthcare analytics features.
• Experience with Python for AI/ML, data processing, automation, or backend services.
• Familiarity with AI concepts such as natural language processing, data classification, summarization, recommendation systems, or predictive analytics.
• Experience with TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Experience with Docker, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, or DevOps workflows.
• Experience with reporting dashboards, analytics modules, patient portals, claims, billing, or appointment systems.
• Experience with testing frameworks and writing unit, integration, or API tests.
• Familiarity with UI libraries or frameworks such as Material UI, Tailwind CSS, Bootstrap, or similar.
• Knowledge of performance optimization, caching, logging, and monitoring.

Workdays: Monday - Friday

Work hours: 6pm – 3am PKT (Night shift)
