Job summary

RepairDesk is seeking a seasoned full‑stack Software Engineer to develop and maintain scalable web and mobile applications for a growing repair shop management platform.

You will collaborate with designers, product managers, and other engineers to write clean code, implement robust APIs, optimize performance, and participate in code reviews, while following CI/CD and DevOps best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field).
• 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong proficiency in backend languages (Node.js and PHP).
• Experience with REST APIs and Vue.js for frontend.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS) and version control (Git).

Responsibilities

• Developing and maintaining scalable front-end and back-end applications for web and mobile platforms.
• Collaborating with product designers, product managers, and other engineers to build user-friendly, high-performance software.
• Writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code while adhering to best practices in software development.
• Writing and Implementing comprehensive use cases and test cases for APIs and ensuring seamless integration between front-end and back-end systems.
• Testing, troubleshooting, debugging, and optimising existing systems for performance and scalability.
• Participating in code reviews, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining quality standards.
• Utilize expertise to optimize legacy algorithms for improved software performance.
• Leverage AI-assisted development tools for code generation, refactoring, and optimization to improve productivity and reduce development time.
• Ensure responsible and secure use of AI, including data privacy and cost optimization.
• Provide regular progress updates and reports to the team lead.

Requirements
