Job summary

Monty Mobile is seeking a Software Engineer to independently design, develop, test, and maintain full-stack software solutions across backend and frontend layers. You will own features from requirements through implementation, QA handover, and production support, ensuring reliable, secure, and maintainable code in line with engineering standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, information technology, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience in software development across backend and frontend applications.
• Hands-on experience with API development, databases, and full‑stack features.
• Experience with database-driven or event-driven systems and integrations.
• Proficiency in English and the local language is required.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, authentication/authorization, and error handling.
• Familiarity with PostgreSQL, SQL queries, transactions, and indexing.
• Knowledge of RabbitMQ or similar messaging/event-queue technologies.
• Ability to independently develop and troubleshoot features across backend, frontend, database, and integrations.
• Experience with Git workflows, PRs, reviews, and traceability.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services, APIs, business logic, data processing, and frontend applications.
• Own features from requirements through development, testing, QA handover, and production support.
• Implement end-to-end features across frontend interactions, backend processing, and data persistence.
• Design and consume REST APIs with proper validations and error handling.
• Develop and maintain integration flows with internal and external systems.
• Validate PostgreSQL queries, transactions, and data persistence.
• Support RabbitMQ and event-driven workflows, including retries and monitoring.
• Implement asynchronous workflows for notifications, billing triggers, and reporting.
• Analyze requirements and propose technical approaches before development.
• Troubleshoot issues across backend services, API responses, and queues.
• Perform unit, integration, and regression testing; support QA handover.
