Funavry is seeking a software engineer to design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies. You will design end-to-end features across the front end, APIs and data layer, and make pragmatic architecture decisions.

You will review code, mentor engineers and raise the quality bar across the team, while owning the reliability, performance and observability of the services you ship.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of software development experience.
• SDLC and Agile knowledge.
• SQL databases or MongoDB.
• MVC, web services, Web APIs, SSR, and SSG.
• Git or SVN.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain web applications using modern frontend and backend technologies to deliver reliable, scalable software solutions.
• Design and build end-to-end features across the front end, APIs and data layer.
• Make pragmatic architecture decisions and document the trade-offs behind them.
• Review code, mentor engineers and raise the quality bar across the team.
• Own the reliability, performance and observability of the services you ship.
• Collaborate with product and design to scope work and de-risk delivery early.
