Job summary

Quirky Bit in Lahore, Pakistan is seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer to design, build, and scale a healthcare application using React, Next.js, TypeScript, NestJS, and modern tooling. This role spans frontend and backend work, real-time features, AI/NLP integrations, HIPAA compliance, and cloud deployments.

You will collaborate to architect scalable systems, containerize with Docker, manage monorepos with TurboRepo, and work with Postgres or SurrealDB, while ensuring secure coding practices.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in full-stack development with modern technologies.
• Proficiency in React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS, and NestJS.
• Experience with containerization tools like Docker and cloud environments (Azure, Google Cloud, or AWS).
• Familiarity with SQL databases (Postgres) and modern alternatives (e.g., SurrealDB).
• Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and event-driven architecture (e.g., RabbitMQ, Kafka).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the team to architect, develop, and deploy scalable and secure full-stack applications.
• Implement front-end interfaces using React, Next.js, TypeScript, TailwindCSS for a seamless user experience.
• Develop robust back-end services with NestJS, integrating AI and NLP models.
• Work on database architecture with Postgres and SurrealDB.
• Containerize applications using Docker and manage deployments in cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain mono-repo setups using TurboRepo or NX.
• Collaborate on model fine-tuning pipelines with Python, Hugging Face, PyTorch, and related tools.
• Work on backend infrastructure for AI models using Kubernetes, RabbitMQ, or Kafka.
• Contribute to ensuring HIPAA and SOC2 compliance.
• Optimize for performance across platforms, including preparing for mobile development with React Native and C++.
• Assist in developing innovative NLP solutions to enhance AI systems.
