Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using measuring tools.
• Cut, shape and assemble wood, metal or plastic to form concrete molds.
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades at sites.
• Clean and prepare surfaces before placing concrete molds.
• Mix, pour and spread concrete into molds with hand tools.
• Smooth concrete segments to ensure level surfaces and remove excess material.
• Monitor curing process and adjust as needed to achieve quality forms.
• Follow safety procedures to maintain a safe work environment.

Job description

We are in need of experienced Formworkers to join our construction team in Karachi. As a Formworker you will be responsible for creating and installing temporary or permanent molds known as forms that are used to hold wet concrete in place during the construction process. This position requires physical strength and stamina as well as attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.

Responsibilities

• Measure and mark cutting lines on materials using a measuring tape, ruler or chalk line
• Cut shape and assemble wood, metal or plastic pieces to form concrete molds
• Erect and dismantle scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring and barricades required at construction sites
• Clean and prepare surfaces by removing debris before placing concrete molds
• Mix, pour and spread concrete into molds using hand tools such as trowels or screeds
• Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure it is level and remove excess material
• Monitor the curing process of concrete molds and make adjustments as needed
• Follow safety procedures at all times to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Formworker or similar role in the construction industry
• Ability to read blueprints and follow instructions accurately

• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time

Salary: 1700$ per month
