Our construction company in Karachi is seeking a skilled and experienced Concrete Worker to join our team. As a Concrete Worker you will be responsible for preparing, pouring and finishing concrete surfaces according to project specifications. This is a physically demanding role that requires strength, stamina, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Prepare forms for pouring concrete and ensure they are properly aligned and secured.
• Mix and pour concrete into forms using appropriate tools.
• Smooth and level concrete surface using trowels, screeds or power floats.
• Finish edges of concrete to specified smoothness.
• Install control joints as needed.
• Monitor drying process and make necessary adjustments or repairs.
• Clean equipment after use and maintain a clean work area.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a Concrete Worker in the construction industry.
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
• Knowledge of different types of concrete mixes and their uses.
• Familiarity with hand tools such as trowels, floats, screeds, etc.
• Ability to read blueprints and follow project specifications.
• Attention to detail and ability to work accurately under pressure.
