Job summary

Ernst & Young Advisory Services Sdn Bhd in Karachi is seeking an Associate – Mercury Transaction Support to join the Finance team. You will support engagement transaction processing, manage SAP tasks including opportunity creation, pricing, budgeting and billing, and analyze scenarios to improve engagement margins.

The role requires 2+ years in transaction processing, proficiency in Microsoft Office and Power BI, and a finance-related background.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transaction processing, ideally in a professional services firm.
• Strong communication, organizational, and detail-oriented problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Word) and Power BI.
• Finance-related degree or experience in a professional service or consultancy environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills for building and maintaining relationships across the firm.

Responsibilities

• Assist the engagement team in managing opportunities, pricing, budgeting, and billing within SAP.
• Collaborate with regional teams to ensure transaction activity adheres to service line protocols.
• Provide guidance on Mercury and best practices.
• Report status and volume analysis to market finance in a timely manner.
• Support system enhancement through regular feedback and improvements.
