Summary

  • Location: Askari Corporate Tower, Main Boulevard, Gulberg III, Lahore
  • Hours:40hrs, Mon-Fri 10:00am-7:00pm
  • Salary range: Competitive Salary Package

The impact of your role

As the Financial Reporting Executive, you will be responsible for the financial management and administration of the organization, liaising with the Finance Managers to agree finance, administration, and general work priorities.

Key responsibilities of the role include:

  1. Prepare and maintain finance reports and account reconciliation reports according to company policies on periodic basis
  2. Support Monthly, Quarterly and Full year submission of Management and Statutory Reporting requirements.
  3. Support internal and external stakeholders to create business value addition proposition.
  4. Assist Treasury function for smooth financial activities and allocation of receipts
  5. Support Credit Control division with strong credit control mechanism and Accounts payable division with process optimization and payables management
  6. Liaise with Sales and Operations department for process planning and contribution calculations.
  7. Post Accruals and prepayment as per accounting standards and business needs.
  8. Prepare weekly Supplier run report for payments to the suppliers.
  9. Ensure maintenance of the general and subsidiary ledgers
  10. Reconcile monthly general ledger balance, invoices, and credit card statements by identifying and resolving invoicing issues, accounting discrepancies and other financial related issues.
  11. Support the income reconciliation process by extracting relevant reports.
  12. Raise relevant Intercompany invoices and reconciliation on timely basis as per company needs.

Your ideal experience & competencies

Ideally you would have a degree in finance, with 1-2 years of work experience within a finance environment where you complied with financial accounting procedures and reconciliations.

You must be able to understand how to produce accounts from ledgers to financial accounting standards, have great enthusiasm and attitude for the role, a high level of resilience and strong written and verbal communication and emotional intelligence.

  • Experience within IT service industry will be preferred
  • Significant analytical skillset
  • Strong Quantitative abilities
  • Strong influence and interpersonal skills
  • High level of commercial acumen
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft office, excel for pivot tables and VLOOKUP is required.
