Key Responsibilities

• Manage the overall financial management and accounting functions.
• Prepare and monitor annual budgets, financial plans, cash-flow requirements, and expenditure forecasts.
• Ensure proper budgetary control and compliance with approved financial allocations.
• Maintain accurate and complete accounts, financial records, ledgers, vouchers, and supporting documentation.
• Manage payments, receipts, payroll, bank transactions, reconciliations, and cash management.
• Ensure compliance with Public Financial Management (PFM) rules, applicable government regulations, organizational policies, and contractual requirements.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure value for money, cost-effectiveness, and proper utilization of funds.
• Coordinate financial requirements with procurement, HR, logistics, and hospital management.
• Review and verify invoices, bills, payment requests, and supporting documents before processing.
• Prepare timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, budget utilization reports, and management statements.
• Support and facilitate internal/external audits, financial reviews, and inspectionsand ensure timely resolution of audit observations.
• Maintain proper financial controls, segregation of duties, authorization procedures, and fraud-prevention measures.
• Advise the Team Lead/Director on financial risks, budget variances, resource requirements, and corrective actions.
• Ensure confidentiality, transparency, accountability, and integrity in all financial transactions.

Requirements

Minimum Qualification: MBA Finance / M.Com or equivalent
Minimum Experience: At least 3 years’ relevant experience, including Public Financial Management experience
