ACCA Careers in Karachi is seeking a seasoned accounting professional to manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing.

You will prepare accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in line with IFRS and local regulatory requirements, develop and monitor annual budgets and forecasts, and communicate variances with management.

Responsabilités

• Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including general ledger, accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop & monitor annual budgets and forecasts; variances and recommend corrective actions to management.
• Oversee cash flow management, working capital, and banking relationships, including LCs, guarantees, and trade finance for procurement and import transactions.
• Ensure compliance with taxation requirements (income tax, sales tax, withholding tax) and coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory bodies (SECP, FBR).
• Support project costing and profitability analysis for engineering, procurement, and EPC-related contracts. Coordinate financial reporting and consolidation with overseas associates Maintain and strengthen internal controls, financial policies, and procedures to safeguard company assets.
• Manage payroll processing, employee reimbursements, and statutory deductions (EOBI, Provident Fund, etc.). Liaise with vendors, freight, and customs agents on payment terms and import-related financial documentation.
