Job summary

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy is seeking a Finance Officer to support PUAN’s financial management and programmatic activities, ensuring accurate processing, recordkeeping, and tax compliance.

The role demands strong fund accounting knowledge, a Bachelor’s degree in commerce, and at least two years of relevant experience, preferably with an international organization in the development sector. The contract is for 1 year with extension possibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (14 years) in commerce from an HEC recognized university.
• Two years of progressively responsible experience in finance and accounting.
• Experience with an international organization in the development sector is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare bank, journal, and receipt vouchers with proper documentation.
• Record transactions in general and subsidiary ledgers on a timely basis.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
• Process remittances and payments for small grants and chapter activities per budgets.
• Maintain records of advances for PUAN Grants and other activities and their settlements.
• Maintain organized financial records and documentation for audit and reporting.
