Position Related

This role is responsible for supporting Record to Report process for different geographies and sub processes. This will include performing and supporting in Project Accounting, fixed Assets, Cost management issues, perform month end closing, reporting, and delivering process improvements/transformations for services to the in-scope business units.

This role will also be responsible for day-to-day compliance to Service Level Agreements and execution of daily routines.

Goals
  • Process transactions as per desk top procedures
  • Adhere to agreed SLAs & KPIs with stakeholders.
Your typical day at work
  • Performing and Supporting in Project Accounting, fixed Assets, Cost management issues.
  • Performing and supporting in delivering smooth month end closing and reporting.
  • Manage communications and provision required information to external auditors as agreed with Business units.
  • Coordination of annual audit and quarterly review activities of external auditors and provision of relevant evidence.
  • Maintain reporting procedures to comply with Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR).
  • Providing support to team in delivering daily tasks.
  • Maintaining and updating daily task list/checklists.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve policies and procedures.
  • Ensuring documentation and updating of SOPs.
  • Managing ad hoc tasks as and when required.

Eligibility Criteria
Experience and Qualification
  • BBA/MBA/ACCA/ACMA
  • Strong accounting knowledge (IFRS)
  • Minimum 2 year experience in Accounting or Finance preferably in a multinational environment
  • Proficient in accounting and financial systems
  • Good analytical and interpersonal skills
Functional Skills / Knowledge Areas
  • Excellent communications skills with proficiency in Verbal & Written English language.
  • Ready to accept challenges and meet stringent deadlines.
  • Well versed with International Accounting Standards
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Teams)
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and set priorities.
  • Sound knowledge of Oracle Fusion is a plus.
  • Time-management and strong follow-up skills.
  • Self-motivated to undertake responsibilities and work without supervision.
  • Ability to bond and adjust within the team and department
