About the Role

London School of Science & Technology (UK) is hiring Finance Accountants for its Islamabad Support & Liaison Office under FGEN (Fairfield Global Educational Network Private Limited).

This is a specialized Accounting & Finance position, not a general Accounts role. The successful candidates must have practical experience across both Pakistani and UK accounting & finance environments and be able to independently manage responsibilities with minimal supervision.

Mandatory Requirements

• ACCA, CA/ICAP, ICAEW, CIMA, CPA or equivalent internationally recognized professional accounting qualification
• All professional papers completed/passed
• 5–10 years of relevant Accounting & Finance experience
• Strong working knowledge of both Pakistani and UK accounting & finance practices
• Proven experience working with UK-based/international clients or organizations
• Strong hands‑on experience in financial accounting, reporting, reconciliations, GL, month‑end closing, payroll, budgeting, audit and compliance
• Advanced MS Excel: complex formulas, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and other lookup functions, Pivot Tables, data analysis and financial dashboards
• Hands‑on experience with Sage 50, Sage 200 and Xero; Odoo experience will be a plus
• Strong professional English communication
• Ability to independently manage finance and accounting responsibilities, meet deadlines and take full ownership of assigned work

Previous experience in the education / academic sector will be an added advantage and is preferred.
