Job summary

PMCL-JAZZ is seeking an Expert Planning & Strategy to translate business and budget ambitions into actionable plans, monitor revenue, and develop growth strategies for Jazz Lifestyle Ventures. You will work closely with FP&A and cross‑functional teams to deliver forecasting cycles and performance insights that inform management decisions.

Reporting to the Stream Head Planning & Strategy, the role creates investment cases for partnerships and digital ventures, supports KPI alignment, and builds

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s in Business Management/Finance/Accounting.
• Professional qualification such as CA/ACCA/ACMA/CIMA.
• Experience in Telco and Finance with international exposure preferred.
• 2 years of relevant working experience.
• Knowledge of Performance Management.
• Understanding of Marketing Spend and its related ROIs.
• Understanding of Business Planning.
• Understanding of Telecom business.
• Knowledge of Scenario Analysis.
• Excellent ppt development and presentation skills.
• Knack for working across departmental boundaries.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in MS Office including PowerPoint and Excel.
• Experience with reporting tools like PowerBI, Tableau.

Responsibilities

• Devise tactical objectives to trickle down budgetary plan ambitions and establish controls for managing the budget, supported by AI-driven planning, predictive analytics and automated performance monitoring.
• Responsible for the development of marketing plans, and working with various departments to ensure implementation tracking of progress.
• Prepare all required OpCo Board materials, as and when required
• Liaise with the FP&A team during forecasting cycles for locking revenue-related KPIs and achievement strategies, supported by AI-based forecasting and scenario modelling.
• Develop the marketing performance scorecard in line with the overall business plan and strategy, predictive indicators and actionable insights for adjusting the course to meet targets.
• Undertake P&L reporting and monitoring for all services provided separately by Jazz Consumer Division, using AI-enabled automation, variance analysis and early-warning alerts.
• Develop an in-depth strategy and forecast for each Jazz Lifestyle Venture separately, using AI-powered forecasting, customer analytics and scenario planning.
• Evaluate new business opportunities by developing investment cases for the incubation, partnership or acquisition of digital ventures, financial modelling and opportunity evaluation.

What is Expert Planning & Strategy?

The role sits at the center of Jazz GSM’s strategic and commercial planning. It translates business and budget ambitions into actionable plans, monitors revenue and service-level P&L.

Working closely with FP&A and cross-functional stakeholders, the role supports forecasting cycles, aligns revenue KPIs and develops clear strategies for achieving business targets. It also creates performance scorecards and actionable insights that enable management to identify risks early and adjust course when required.

The role further develops growth strategies and forecasts for Jazz Lifestyle Ventures, evaluates new business opportunities, and builds investment cases for partnerships, acquisitions and digital ventures. It also contributes to strategic decisions involving competitive developments, evolving customer needs and changing industry dynamics.

With exposure to Board-level priorities and high-impact initiatives, the role offers a unique opportunity to turn complex business challenges into clear strategic choices and help shape the future direction.
