Job description

We are looking for an Environmental Health Professional to support planning consultation work for our East Anglia local authority client.

The Officer will handle planning consultations with expertise in acoustics and noise control, thermal control in buildings, contaminated land, and general areas such as odour control (food businesses), air quality, waste, construction phase, and deliveries & services.

The system is set up electronically for responses, but the officer will need to attend sites occasionally and may be required to participate in meetings on capital projects. These meetings may be conducted online (Teams) or in person.

The role is for 15 hours per week and is a long-term position.
