Job summary

Descon is seeking a results-driven HSE Manager with leadership and hands-on experience implementing HSE management systems. The role emphasizes OSHA standards and industry best practices in daily operations to make safety visible on site.

You will develop, monitor, and continuously improve HSE programs, lead audits and incident investigations, and drive a proactive safety culture across sites. A Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field and at least 15 years in oil & gas HSE

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years of HSE experience in oil & gas industry.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Company’s HSE policies, standards, and systems.
• Promote HSE culture and ensure compliance with OSHA and regulatory requirements.
• Analyze HSE performance data and report to top management.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and incident investigations.
• Ensure risk assessments, JSA, IEE, and waste management compliance.
• Support emergency preparedness, training, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Support HR in recruitment, training, and development of HSE personnel.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, Quality, and Company Systems.
