HR POD Careers seeks an experienced technical leader to guide AI, software, and product development initiatives for client engagements. You will collaborate with clients to translate business goals into architectural roadmaps and manage cross-functional teams toward high-quality, automated delivery.

The role emphasizes strategic planning, hands-off technical guidance, and governance across SaaS and AI-powered solutions, with a focus on scalable systems and KPI-driven performance.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering, engineering management, or technical leadership roles.
• Proven experience leading product-focused engineering teams and delivering customer-centric solutions.
• Strong understanding of AI/ML technologies, LLMs, automation platforms, and modern software architectures.
• Experience working directly with clients in consulting, agency, SaaS, or technology services environments.
• Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies and engineering best practices.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with hands-off technical guidance.
• Experience scaling engineering teams in startup or high-growth environments.
• Background in SaaS, AI products, marketing technology, or automation platforms.
• Familiarity with data engineering, analytics, and AI product development lifecycles.
• Experience establishing engineering KPIs, team performance frameworks, and delivery governance processes.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership and strategic direction across AI, software, and product development initiatives.
• Collaborate with clients to understand business requirements, define technical roadmaps, and translate objectives into actionable engineering plans.
• Lead engineering teams through architecture reviews and technical decision-making, establish coding best practices, and build a culture of quality, automation, and effective delivery.
• Partner with Product Managers and stakeholders to prioritize features, manage trade-offs, and ensure alignment between business and technical goals.
• Oversee the development and implementation of AI-driven solutions, automation workflows, and scalable software systems.
• Establish and continuously improve engineering processes, development standards, and performance metrics.
• Mentor engineers and technical leads, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Identify technical risks, dependencies, and resource requirements while proactively driving mitigation strategies.
• Support client communications, technical presentations, solution discussions, and project governance activities.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to established quality standards.
