BearPlex, Inc. in Lahore seeks an experienced engineering leader to guide one or more senior pods through enterprise builds.

You will own delivery, guard architectural integrity, and grow engineers under your care, staying hands-on enough to earn technical credibility while owning outcomes. You will lead senior engineers across our stack, mentor through code and design, and collaborate with clients and internal leads across Diagnostic, Build, and Guardian phases to keep commitments aligned.

Responsibilities

• Own delivery outcomes. Take responsibility for what your pod ships, on scope and at a quality bar regulated clients can audit, and make the hard calls when reality shifts.
• Guard architectural integrity. Oversee technical decisions so the systems you build stay sound and maintainable, choosing resilience over shortcuts.
• Lead senior engineers. Run a pod of experienced engineers across our stack, removing blockers and creating the conditions for them to do their best work.
• Mentor and grow people. Coach engineers through code, design, and career, with direct feedback and clear expectations.
• Stay technically close. Review designs and critical pull requests, weigh in on architecture, and keep enough hands-on involvement to lead with credibility.
• Partner across the engagement. Work with clients and internal leads through our Diagnostic, Build, and Guardian phases so technical reality and commitments stay aligned.
• Improve how the pod works. Refine process, raise engineering standards, and build practices the team reuses across projects.

The Role

BearPlex ships production systems for regulated enterprises, the kind of work where architecture has to hold up for years and every delivery has to be defensible. The people leading our engineering pods are the reason that holds true. They protect quality under pressure and turn senior engineers into a team that compounds.

This role leads one or more senior pods through real enterprise builds: owning delivery, guarding architectural integrity, and growing the engineers in your care. You are hands‑on enough to earn technical respect and senior enough to own outcomes. You work in a Lahore hybrid setup with strong ties to our teams in Austin and Doha.

What You Will Do

What We Are Looking For

• Shipped real production systems. You came up as an engineer who built and ran software in production before you led others.

• Proven engineering leadership. You have managed senior engineers and delivered complex projects, owning outcomes rather than just status updates.

• Architectural depth. You can reason about system design, trade-offs, and scale across our stack of React, TypeScript, Node.js, Python, and cloud platforms.

• A mentor's instinct. You grow people deliberately and are proud of the engineers you have leveled up.

• Calm under delivery pressure. You make sound decisions when timelines, scope, and quality collide.

• Clear communication. You translate fluently between engineers, clients, and stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Regulated or enterprise experience. You have led teams building for clients with compliance and auditability demands.

• AI or platform exposure. Familiarity with AI/ML systems, RAG, or multi‑tenant platform architecture.

• Consulting or agency background. Comfort leading teams that deliver for external clients across phases.

• DevOps and infrastructure literacy. Working knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD to guide your pod's practices.
