Engineering Graduate preferably in Electrical with at least 2 years of experience.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in all activities related to compliance testing throughout development, including assisting Test, evaluating results, recommending and following up with solutions, and supporting implementations from the Electrical Engineering (EE) team.
- Coordinate and follow up on electrical design drawings, documents, and vendors submitted by contractors or consultants for the Power and Electrical project.
- Ensure QA/QC complies with specs and requirements to minimize end user's comments and number of non-compliances found during the commissioning stage and hence ensure end user's satisfaction and quality of executed work.
- Perform electrical engineering analysis and design tasks, such as determining the appropriate electrical system configuration for new facilities or identifying energy savings opportunities in existing facilities.
- Ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and install electrical appliances according to specifications and technical drawings.
- Ensure compliance with specifications, codes, or department requirements by directing or coordinating installation, construction, maintenance, documentation, support, or testing activities.
- Evaluate electrical appliances, components, and applications by designing and conducting research programs, and applying knowledge of electricity and materials.
- Perform routine maintenance of portable generators in different repeater stations and perform routine maintenance of installed generation sets.
- Maintain electrical systems by establishing and enforcing preventive and ongoing maintenance, and testing programs; scheduling repairs; and coordinating shutdowns and installations.
- Establish schedules and methods for troubleshooting operational issues and review operations associated with the power plant.
- Prepare specifications for purchases of equipment and materials installed in operation by the department.
- Develop estimates of material, labor, or construction costs for budget preparation.
- Assist in planning, costing, and budgeting of the maintenance services, new installations, and consumables.
- Conduct routine general inspection of electrical and electronics machinery/equipment and its maintenance.
- Identify and assess risks under their management/ownership.
- Develop and implement risk response strategies for the risks under their management.
- Monitor risks and response strategies under their management.
- Ensure the accuracy and timeliness of information provided for risk reporting.
- Perform any other task assigned by senior management.
